Part 4&5

Memory and Forgetting

How to pronounce and memorize them

Course Description:

This course is for all those learners of English who want to improve their memory and understand why you seem to forget more than you store. This course teaches you how you remember (and build) language and why you forget. It explains what you need to do in order to improve your memory and which strategies will help you to take the holes out of the cheese.

In the first part of this course we will learn how memories are made and and how things are actually stored in the brain.

In the second part we will learn about and come to love our ability to forget. It has a very good purpose for being part of our brain and we will find out what it tells us.

Most of the strategies explained here are being used in many of my English language courses. So if you’ve studied this course and then want to take another one – you’ve got a headstart!
